Domain suspended - no reason given
I have my 'www.redknight.org.uk' domain hosted by you. I pay monthly by credit card - all payments are up-to-date - the last being on 23/12/2009.
But I just found out that my account is suspended and my email is not forwarded.
No reason has been given. Please help me.

Inappropriate?Exactly the same thing happened to me this morning... this was the first time I was due to be billed since moving to CORE. To add insult to injury, when I re-activated my site, I was charged significantly more than my old payments.
Not happy!
I’m annoyed that my website disappeaered without warning this morning.

I've re-sent your login details for CORE, you'll now be able to login and renew your account. I'm going to investigate why the auto-renewal didn't kick in, this is normally because the card failed pre-auth on import.

Inappropriate?i was e-mailed a few weeks back saying I'd be auto renewed on the 26th, just tried to log in and it turns out i wasn't and my account was suspended. Looks like i wast the only one!

Is that the same bug that suspended my hosting account last month and has suspended it again this month? (codforum.org.uk)
If you are going to suspend people for non-payment wouldn't it be a good idea to give some advance warning so we could at least sort out the problem before telling the world our account has been suspended? -

Inappropriate?Mike - we do send out suspension emails and sms's to people before they are suspended. We're investigating this problem at the moment, and will update everyone as soon as we have a fix.

You didn't send me any emails either this month or last month when you suspended the same account. As I've been paying every month since 2004 I get really pissed off at being cut off without notice when the whole problem is your fault anyway. -

Inappropriate?We've pushed a fix into CORE for this issue. Auto-renewals will now work correctly, assuming that a valid credit/debit card is on file and you've enabled auto-renewal in each particular service.

Inappropriate?Please help, similar problems, I have paid (twice by the look of it) for my renewal of n9design.net, account was suspended and now has stopped working completely. Email has not worked for last 2 days (via squirrel mail or outlook). My login details will not work for the help desk/support centre and my domain appears for sale. Tried the lost password and it tells me my email address is not registered.

Inappropriate?I would love to but I cannot log into the support helpdesk. It doesn't recognize my details, when i try and reset the password it says my email address is not registered. I can login to the portal only. Domain still says expired and still cannot get my webmail.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem www.holistichealth4u.co.uk and I'm seriously unhappy. I have no mail and I have logged a ticket with support. No website means no customers and no contact with them, I'm losing money. How does it look to my customers when they go to it and it says suspended? I pay annually and my hosting is not up for renewal. To say I'm furious about this which seems to be a bug in the system and nothing to do with me is an understatement. I have had nothing but good experiences with you guys for years, but this is unacceptable.

Inappropriate?I am having similar problems. My domain name appears to have expired. I got no warning from you that the renewal was due and discovered this by accident. I tried to pay my renewal on the website. This was refused as it was already paid, but not by me. I can no longer use my domain name email to access help via your helpdesk as presumably any replies would not come back to me. Help!!!

Same problem here. Email advising suspension was sent AFTER suspension, so didn't arrive. System clearly still not working properly. Just when my main website is likely to be busy, everyone gets told my account has been suspended. I'm not happy. -

I did enter a ticket and you dealt with it. My gripe is about the continuing failure of the system, which people appear to have been complaining about for months. Oh well, at least I've got a 10% reduction in the price as a result of using the voucher code that came with the email about CORE. -
Inappropriate?the most common reason for account suspensions is expiry of the hosting account.
Whilst we do send a notice for the suspension if the contact address is on the account that was suspended you will not receive it. -
I've had the account for almost 4 years and it hasn't "expired" before. It's only expired, going by the earlier posts in this thread, because of a shortcoming in the new CORE system. Wouldn't it make more sense to send a warning email BEFORE suspension of the account that the message is sent to? I wouldn't mind so much if the email announcing CORE (which I received on 19th Feb) had said something about the need to take action. But it didn't. Or am I missing something? Have I failed to do something that I should have done? I don't think so... -

I've been with Hostroute for many years and have had no significant problems until a few weeks ago when my account was suspended without prior warning. The most embarrassing thing is that I was with a client who was looking over my shoulder at a suspended account. It cost me a day's work I had disgruntled clients bombarding me with calls. Completely UNACCEPTABLE situation which wasn't helped by the fact that hostroute have no emergency contact telephone numbers. I am very dissapointed and if I have any further problem I will definately look elsewhere for reseller hosting
